Sunday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 22 March 2026
There is another decent card at Towcester this afternoon as we move a week closer to the opening round of the 2026 Star Sports and Orchestrate English Greyhound Derby.

Sunday's Tips
*** Princess Matilda - 4.09 Towcester
** Kranky Drake - 4.47 Towcester
* Bombay Nutty - 5.06 Towcester
This will be a first run at Towcester for Princess Matilda but she went well in a trial over two bends last week to give her a taste of the track and time her break from these same boxes over six bends now. She is enjoying a remarkable run of form, breaking the track record for 664m at Central Park at the end of February, bringing up a hat-trick of wins at Romford last time out. This is a decent field but the Cesarewitch finalist boasts the strongest form.
Kranky Drake does things the hard way but he is in excellent form of late, and produced his best run at this track last week. He always needs a bit of luck to have the gaps open at the right time in front of him but the level of form that he has been showing in recent weeks means he has to be supported in this field.
The drop back from six bends to four is not an obvious plus for Bombay Nutty but he is too well drawn to ignore. Farneys Tearaway in trap one is a middle runner while Beatties Shelby has moved left from both traps four and five at Monmore and he sports the orange jacket here. Whether Bombay Nutty has enough early pace these days to take advantage is a question that will be answered this afternoon, but he couldn't have wished for a better make up to this contest.
