Thursday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 19 March 2026
There are some decent open races this evening at Hove where we have out three selections for Thursday night, including a pair for the Seamus Cahill kennel.
Thursday's Tips
*** Unthinkable - 7.33 Hove
** Moving Force - 6.42 Hove
* Clona Kody - 7.16 Hove
Although Unthinkable has not managed to get his head in front in five starts since returning from six months on the sidelines, this looks his best opportunity to do so. He didn't quite look ready for six bends again in mid-February but with another couple of runs under his belt, he can get back to his best. He ran Romeo Empire to three-quarters of a length over track and trip last summer, producing a 41.80 run. That form reads well at this level.
Another with a gap on his card is Moving Force. This is his first run since he chased him Proper Heiress in the final of the Coral Olympic in December but his recent sprint trials suggest that he is ready to roll. He was also a finalist in the Coral Champion Stakes at Romford last autumn, so he is a genuine Category One dog and should be too good for these.
It was a little bit disappointing to see Clona Kody picked up last week but the slow track would not have been in his favour. He is going to have to be on his toes here as there is plenty of early boot inside of him, but he is the sole wide seed with a vacant trap to his immediate left, and any trouble on the inside is going to be a big help.
