Hove is the main meeting on Thursday night with a card full of open race action. We have three selections for the racing on the south coast.

*** Brunch Pal - 9.16 Hove
** Exotic Princess - 7.33 Hove
* Minstrels Five - 7.49 Hove
This should be a good bit easier for Brunch Pal than his last three starts which have all seen him chase home Scooby The Lady at Central Park. A middle starting slot suits him better here than one on the rails does, clocking 29.01 over this 500m test the only prior time that he has sported the white jacket at this venue. He shouldn't need anything like as quick as that to land this.
There was a nice step forward from Exotic Princess on her second run back from seasonal rest, landing an A2 contest last week. She has won in top grade here, and is more than capable of picking up a maiden like this. She will have a challenge on the run to the first bend from Gingers Ada on her outside but the selection can just nose enough up that rivals inside to hold her space. She rails like a cat and that can see her hit the front before the line the second time around.
Having only been beaten a short head in the heats of a maiden stayers a fortnight back, the run from Minstrels Five in the final was a little disappointing by comparison. He is a strong stayer over this trip which is not something that can be said for his main rivals in the betting. As such, he is worth giving another chance to here, to show that the first impression of him was the correct one.
