There is plenty of open race action to get stuck into this evening with Hove, Monmore and Newcastle all hosting them, with the latter hosting heats of the BGBF Maiden Derby.

Connections of Senahel Sydney will be delighted to see their charge in a race that doesn't contain Armagh Daithi this evening. Mark Wallis's Monmore win machine has been a constant thorn in his side, winning the last four races that the selection has contested. With nothing of that quality in here tonight, Nathan Hunt's runner can get back to winning ways.
There should be some consolation at Hove tonight for Droopys Deploy who went out of the Derby in the first round last weekend. That will have been disappointing for connections but he is back at his home track as the sole wide seed in a race that should be run to suit his strong style perfectly this evening.
Tonight is King Floyd's first run away from Romford in 2026 but he looks well set for the return to a stiffer track. Things didn't go well for him over four bends at Central Park last year, but he produced a smart sprint at that track before a decent trial here. His form at Romford, like when runner-up to Gav Nificent, reads well at this level.
