*** Trapstyle Grumpy - 7.49 Towcester

** Salacres Seren - 8.07 Towcester

* Fabulous Rey - 8.24 Towcester

When he is on his game, Trapstyle Grumpy is one of the more consistent trappers at Towcester. He has won his last three starts, including when over this trip on his most recent outing. He boasts plenty of smart sprint form and now looks more than capable of taking this slightly higher race in his stride over the new 460m distance.

Four of the five in the top grade sprint at 8.07 met one another last week. Salacres Seren was unlucky to not win that, looking set to turn a length in front but she was trodden on halfway around the turn which cost her her winning chance. The same bitch is inside her again tonight, so she is going to have to break well again but she is worth giving another chance to.

A D4 contest at 8.24 could see a debut winner in the shape of Fabulous Rey. She has shaped well in her trials and it would be no shock to see her improve considerably on that now that she embarks on her racing career. Her first mixed trial saw her four lengths off one who was sent off the 11/8 favourite in a D2 on debut, she starts out two grades lower which looks perfectly fair.
