It is typical Wednesday night graded fare this evening with a selections each from the cards at Yarmouth, Romford and Dunstall Park.

*** Kilbride Duchess - 6.48 Yarmouth
** Droopys Putt - 8.01 Romford
* Bernietheballiff - 9.16 Dunstall Park
A winner the last time that she was in A5 grade, it has been a bit of an adventure for Kilbride Duchess of late. She was punished with a two-grade hike for that win but has then had two downgrades in as many runs back to this level again. There is not much early pace in the race, so she should be able to get out and on the bunny. That can see her home in front again.
There is a very interesting newcomer for Gemma Evans in the 8.01 at Romford this evening in the form of Droopys Putt. She has shown a decent level of ability while she has been grading in, starting out in A6 grade tonight. She was beaten half a length by one who has won an A4 since and a length and a half by a former A1 Star Pelaw winner who has gone straight into A2 at Romford in her mixed trials. She has been given a fair crack on debut at this level.
A sprint contest at Dunstall Park to round out the tips where Bernietheballiff is dropped back into a D4 contest for the first time since November! She has been missing the kick in recent starts but she has been given a race with a pair of unraced pups next door to one another in two and three and a slow starter inside her in five. She is 2/2 at this level and the makeup of the contest gives her strong claims of maintaining that unbeaten record.
