We head to the graded cards at Romford and Yarmouth this evening for our three selections for Wednesday night's racing action.
Wednesday's Tips
*** Ten Fold - 6.37 Romford
** Heflewanocean - 9.23 Yarmouth
* Up Quick - 9.47 Romford
We are hoping that it is going to be a good night for the David Mullins team at Romford this evening and that can start in the opening race with Ten Fold. He picked up an A2 win earlier on in the month, running well in a top grade contest last time out. The drop back down in level is going to be a help to him and he is a perfect 2/2 when he has won in an A2 from the white jacket in the past.
The drop down to A5 grade again could be just the ticket for Heflewanocean getting back to winning ways. He has four wins in eight starts when running at this level in the past, including the last two times act the has been seen at this level. He went close in a couple of A4 races earlier on this month and the drop can hopefully make all the difference.
We have to wait around all night for arguably the most interesting runner today in the final race at Romford. Up Quick was exactly that in his only start in Ireland, picked up on the run-in at Shelbourne, clocking a very smart 28.79. He has shown nothing like that sort of level in three trials at Romford so far, though it would be no surprise to anyone if he makes a big step forward on his racing debut in this country.
