There is only graded action to go at on Wednesday night so we have looked over the cards at Romford and Yarmouth for our three best selections for the evening.
Wednesday's Tips
*** Curtain Twitcher - 7.22 Yarmouth
** Loughmore - 8.54 Romford
* College Twain - 8.01 Romford
Curtain Twitcher returns to action from a couple of months off with a downgrade to help her. The last start that she made was on December 1 when she beat Laugh Alot who went on just three and a half weeks later to win the Track Championship. She has the early gears to lead up the two inside her and that could be plenty enough to see her away and gone.
It was a slightly disappointing Romford debut from Loughmore last week but he showed on his final start in Ireland that he is capable of much better than that. He showed promise when trialling in at this venue and a repeat of his final trial sectional rather than the two-length slower one in his race will put him in a much better position.
Things have not dropped right for College Twain so far since joining Paul Burr but it is still early days after just three starts. He stopped the clock at 29.03 at Tralee on his sole start in Ireland, a level that suggests that he should be a fair bit better than A8 here, even if the track might not be absolutely ideal for him.
