Chris Oliver's Thursday night greyhound racing tips - September 18, 2025
Thursday's open race tips will come from Hove where Chris Oliver has his three best selections for the evening's card.

Hove greyhound tips for Thursday
*** 8.59 Hove - Tivoli Milo (3pts) 11/8
** 6.42 Hove - Break Point (2pts) 15/8
* 8.07 Hove - Glenmavis (1pt) 7/4
The top bet of the night is Seamus Cahill's Tivoli Milo. He returned to action last week after almost three months off, clocking an impressive 29.33 in a winning effort. That should bring him on and there is a strong chance that he can go quicker still tonight now that he has that run under his belt. He has a beautiful draw to work from where he should be able to lead up the outside without any issues, and that should be enough to see him go on to score.
Break Point has been coming on nicely in recent weeks for Derek Knight, rattling off a hat-trick of wins. She has a little bit more to do tonight but the draw in two is arguably a better place for her than right on the inside. She was able to find the right gap to take in recent successes, and that can see her continue to produce these winning efforts.
The final bet of the night is Glenmavis to provide Knight with a double. There was very little covering five of these six in the 695m heats a week back but she was nothing like as quickly into stride as she can be. Perhaps that can be accredited to going to Central Park the time before with the switch seeing her find a little bit of trouble. Her earlier form, a 41.82 win in the middle of August for example, would make her the one they all have to beat.
