More open race action this evening taking place at Hove with a variety of distances on show.

The nap of the night runs in the first open race of the evening at 6.59pm. Trap six Burrows Eclipse lines up in the Coral Dual Distance Trophy Heat One with a brilliant make up out wide. A vacant box in five and Droopys Jiver in four possessing fine early pace can get Burrows Eclipse a nice run into the race. Long Fellow and Droopys Jiver should take the field along but the strong running wide who won over the 515m trip two runs back by just under nine lengths can time his run to perfection to reel in the early pacesetters.

The next best is trap three Lets Go Harry in the Coral Summertime 695 Maiden Stayers at 7.49pm. On paper this looks a weaker race than what Lets Go Harry faced seven days ago when second to Push Your Luck when not able to get clear and where there are questions marks over the stamina of some of his rivals, Lets Go Harry has shown he sees this trip out well enough to win a race of this nature if managing to gain a clear run. 

The third bet of the evening comes with a health warning and it is trap three Rules For Some in the Coral 695 Stayers Trophy Heat Two at 8.41pm. A four dog affair where the outsider of the four Beloved Brenda can keep the two more fancied rivals Harlequin Beauty and Art Riddler honest enough to allow Rules For Some to do her thing. If she wins it wont be by far but at the price in a four dog race you should get a run for your money so a small chance is taken on Rules For Some.

Other races include the Coral 500 Maiden Trophy Final at 8.07pm where trap six Texas Jack should come on for last weeks heat demolition to land the spoils. The first heat of the Coral 695 Stayers Trophy at 8.24pm can go to Intriguing Iris who is expected to get the better of Swift Jarvis and the other two heats of the Coral Dual Distance Trophy at 7.16pm and 7.33pm can go to Newinn Oscar and Scooby Pacemaker respectively.
