Maxine Locke's 2024 bet365 English Puppy Oaks winner Yahoo Maizy looks to be one of the best drawn dogs of the night at Hove, the sole seeded runner on the outside of five railers. She has plenty of strong form in her back catalogue, and although things did not go entirely her way in the second half of 2025, there was still the odd flash of her pure talent. In against her own sex from a perfect draw, she should be getting back in the win column this evening.
Limp Rocket has made a very promising start to his career for Belinda Green. An A3 winner on his debut, he stepped up on that when landing a maiden open on his second start. These 'Winner of One' races are a great stepping stone for an inexperienced dog, and he looks the type to still have plenty of improvement in the tank still to come.
It was a rough ride around Central Park on Saturday night for Ballymac Axel but he looks to have been found a less competitive race than that Category Three final this evening. We saw his class in the opening round of that Central Park event, roaring clear once he had been found some space to operate in. A draw in three is probably closer to the rails than he really wants to be but he is more than capable of overcoming that. Unthinkable in one is the danger if he's ready to roll on his first race start since July.
