There is only graded action to go at on Thursday evening so we have found a tip at each of Newcastle, Monmore and Hove greyhound tracks.

*** Ballymac Service - 7.27 Newcastle 11/8
** Phoenix Posh - 8.47 Monmore 5/2
* Timeless Times - 9.16 Hove 9/4
The 7.27 at Newcastle is the final of an A1 sweepstake where Ballymac Service sets a clear standard from the heats a week back. He stopped the clock in 28.56 (-10) on that occasion on just the sixth start of his life. It was a clear career-best, with his only other win also coming when he sported the red jacket, as he does again tonight. If he can repeat that run, he will take some stopping.
Phoenix Posh was turned over at 1/2 in this grade last week after missing out on a spot in the Premier Greyhound Racing Oaks semi-finals by less than a length prior to that. Now that she has got her eye back in at Monmore, she should very much be the one to beat in this company for all that being flanked by pace which will mean that she is going to have to ride her luck in the early stages.
It has taken a little while for connections to get a clear run with Timeless Times but it would appear that they are enjoying that now and can start to see their charge make some steps forward. He dropped into an A3 (having graded in A1) to get off the mark at Hove but he produced the same solid 29.72 last time out back in this grade. He should be able to lead up the pair either side of him and that can set him on the way to another success.
