Tuesday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 23 June 2026
There is very little to go at on Tuesday but hopefully the action in the far north will not see conditions anything like as hot as the south so we head to Star Pelaw for tonight's tips.
Tuesday's Tips
*** Statsman - 7.24 Star Pelaw
** Dromana Fergie - 7.58 Star Pelaw
* Caseys Mario - 6.29 Star Pelaw
Things didn't entirely go to plan for Statsman on his English debut last week, showing plenty of pace to the opening turn before getting squeezed out and then stumbling at the second bend. He moved off from trap three (where he is drawn again this evening) but this time he has a vacant trap outside of him. That can save him the bump he had last week and can see him go around on the bunny. We should be able to see what he can truly do with this downgrade.
There is an interesting A3 contest at 7.58 where Dromana Fergie can get the job done from the inside trap. It took him a while to get his head in front around here but he had hinted his time was coming two starts back before bolting up last time out. He won a couple of times from the red jacket in Ireland, so this draw could be a benefit to him. He needs to get first run on one who probably has more to come in Funky Noodle but the draw inside that rival should help.
Caseys Mario beat three of these last time out, and should have the best gears to the opening bend here in a race where early pace is limited. He was twice a winner in this A7 grade in May, clocking times of 26.77 and 26.78. A repeat of that level of form ought to be more than good enough here as a 27.16 was enough to see those three off last time out.
