Bucking Bucks was behind the re-opposing Tomahawk last week, a rare defeat for him around Suffolk Downs. He didn't come away anything like as well as he can which saw him find trouble as a result. He has a vacant trap inside him tonight and one of his usual breaks can see him away and gone by the opening bend.
Frank Macklin has three in the maiden contest at 8.09 so a market check is probably wise, but on paper the middle of his three looks the most interesting. She led up a very smart form guide in Loli Pop Jamstyx on her sole run in this country, an A2 at Yarmouth where that winner has an exceptional record in the grade. Ballinabola Mona moved well here in a recent sprint trial and has a kennelmate inside in three who moved straight to the rails from this box the last time that she was here and a vacant trap outside. The draw looks perfect.
Although Somersham Lexie arrives without a look for the opening contest at Suffolk Downs this evening, the fact that she is the sole railer in the contest should allow her the room to figure things out in space. She produced by far her best run at Yarmouth back on January 11 when clocking 28.02 and the way that she goes to the pickup suggests that the step up to six bends is going to be a massive plus for her.
