It is another typical Wednesday night with only graded fare to go at but there are selections at both Romford and Yarmouth to get us through the night.

Wednesday's Tips

*** Curtain Twitcher - 8.13 Yarmouth

** Headford Sarah - 6.37 Romford

Skidroe Lady - 6.52 Romford

We put up Curtain Twitcher last week at Yarmouth and she was perhaps a little bit disappointing given that she is a much smarter type than A2 grade. She didn't get the clearest of runs through the early stages and perhaps she just needed the run after a couple of months off. If that has brought her on, there should be no such excuses this evening.

We all know the risks that come with backing a pup on debut but Headford Sarah looks to have been let in at a more than workable level this evening at Romford. She is a half-sister to some speedy types and 3.71 and 3.72 sectionals are very impressive for such a young pup. If she can repeat those this evening she is going to lead these up and with further improvement to come, she is going to prove hard to reel back in.

If Headford Sarah wins the first then there is a strong chance that Maxine Locke will double up immediately with Skidroe Lady in the second. She was behind Sarah in her last two trials and has gone in two grade lower as a result. She has a 29.01 Tralee win on her card in Ireland and while 400m around Romford will be on the short side for her long term, the natural talent is there to win over this trip first.
